Aphrodisiacs are agents that increase sexual desire.
The name comes from the Greek goddess of beauty and sexuality, Aphrodite.
Effects of aphrodisiacs include: increased libido. Each herbs may have a slightly different effect, which may be to increased blood circulation, increase of testosterone, or balancing of hormones.
Opposite of anaphrodisiac, an agent that reduces sexual desire.
